1. Service Overview

nyanQuest is an online TRPG platform powered by AI. Users can play solo quests with an AI Game Master (GM) or join party mode sessions with other players.

2. Use of TRPG System Rules

nyanQuest does not store or transmit rulebook text, stat tables, spell lists, or other copyrighted content from any TRPG system. The only game-related data in our codebase consists of abstract dice mechanics:

  • Dice types and resolution methods (e.g., d20+modifier vs DC, d100 vs skill value)
  • No rulebook text, character sheet data, or monster stat blocks are included
  • AI responses about TRPG rules come from the base AI model's (Google Gemini) pre-existing training data, not from data provided by nyanQuest

3. AI Model & Copyright

nyanQuest's AI GM is powered by Google Gemini. TRPG-related knowledge comes from the model's pre-training on publicly available web content. nyanQuest has not fine-tuned the AI on any rulebooks or supplements, nor does it use RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to provide rulebook data.

4. Trademark Notice

The following TRPG system names are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. nyanQuest uses these names solely to indicate compatibility and does not imply sponsorship or endorsement:

5. Open License Attribution

The following works are used under open licenses. nyanQuest utilizes game mechanics and concepts from these works in accordance with their respective license terms.

Dungeon World

Dungeon World was created by Sage LaTorra and Adam Koebel, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License (CC BY 3.0). The Korean Open Edition was translated by Sung-il Kim (김성일) of Choyeomyeong Publishing (λ„μ„œμΆœνŒ μ΄ˆμ—¬λͺ…), also released under CC BY 3.0.

Under this license, nyanQuest is free to use, adapt, and build upon Dungeon World's game mechanics and content, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and translator.
